Crispy Spiced Fried Bananas
Sweet bananas coated in spiced egg and crispy panko, flash-fried until decadently crunchy.
Ingredients
7 small bananas (or plantains)6 pack
1 tbsp ground cinnamon35g
2 medium eggs6 pack
150g panko breadcrumbs150g
500ml vegetable oil, for frying1L
Method
- Peel cocoys
- Mix eggs and cinnamon in a bowl
- Dip cocoy in mixture, then coat in the panko breadcrumbs
- Heat oil at medium heat
- Place cocoy in hot oil
- Turn with a tong
- Remove from pan when golden brown
